Today, the 1-6 Cleveland Browns will host the 3-3 San Diego Chargers at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The Chargers will be without their stickum, and Browns are hopeful that Trent Richardson will return to form and not show signs of being bothered by his rib injury. So far in the 2012 NFL season, the Browns have been most impressive with their passing game, and that has a lot to do with the chemistry being developed between Brandon Weeden and Josh Gordon. In the past three weeks, Gordon has 7 receptions for 240 yards and four touchdowns. Gordon has been burning the opposing defenses, and this is now allowing Greg Little to have more opportunities because of the deep threat that defenses must account for.

The keys to the game for the Browns will be to contain Ryan Matthews, or at least match his efforts with a similar performance from Trent Richardson. Additionally, Brandon Weeden needs to continue to play well, but needs to avoid careless turnovers. Weeden has done very well so far, but has been haunted by 10 interceptions that usually occur when the plays break down and he panics. If Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden can deliver solid performances, the Browns will have an opportunity to win this game in front of their home crowd.
