With only one week of practice left before the Cleveland Browns have their home opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Browns finally have some positive news in regards to the third overall pick from the 2012 NFL Draft, Trent Richardson. Richardson hasn’t played any football since August 9th, when he had arthroscopic knee surgery. We don’t know yet if he is participating in full practice, limited practice, or just doing individual workouts on the side. Regardless of how involved Trent Richardson is with Cleveland Browns in their Monday practice, it is a positive sign that he is suited up and getting some reps in.
It is never easy for a player, especially a rookie, to miss three weeks of practice during training camp, then come back and get one week of practice under his belt and be ready to go on Sunday. However, the Browns management and coaching staff remains optimistic that even though he may not be 100% in week one, he will be able to play and get up to speed while the season is still young.
