Browns Fall Short in Emotional Game for Raiders

For the Oakland Raiders, the game on October 16, 2011 played in Oakland was more than just a game. It was a tribute to their great owner, Al Davis, who passed away over a week prior. It was an emotional game for the fans, players, coaches, and the league, the Raiders were able to honor Al Davis for the first game in Oakland since his passing. Unfortunately for the Browns, they weren’t able to do anything to stop the emotional team. McCoy didn’t have any interceptions, threw for 2 touchdowns, and 215 yards passing, but his completion percentage is leaving a lot to be desired. Peyton Hillis is showing a lack of interest, only gaining 14-yards on 6 carries. And the Browns special teams missed a major assignment by letting Ford slip through the cracks and take a kick-off to the end zone.

The Browns lost 17-24, but will try to redeem themselves next week when they host the Seahawks. Stay tuned to this Cleveland Browns blog for all the relevant Browns news about your favorite team.
