With 43 seconds left on September 25, 2011, the Browns drove the field and finished the drive with an 18-yard TD pass from McCoy to Massaquoi. The TD and the extra point gave the Browns a 1 point lead. The Browns were able to stop any last minute attempts by the Dolphins, and proceeded to win 17-16. With Peyton Hillis sitting due to an illness, the Browns had to rely on young QBB Colt McCoy to lead the team to victory, and lead he did. McCoy finished the game with 210 yards, 2 touchdowns, and completed 19 of 39 attempts. Obviously Browns fans would like to see him complete his passes at a higher percentage, but he was able to lead the Browns in a two minute drill to score the game winning TD, and that is really all that matters.
Next week the Browns host the Titans, who will be without their star WR, Kenny Britt, who was lost for the season with a torn ACL and MCL. The Browns will hopefully have Hillis back and will look to control the game on the ground.
